June | 2023

Dear Friends of the Centre for Digital Governance,

As we approach the much-anticipated summer break, we wanted to take a moment to share the latest highlights from the Centre for Digital Governance with you.
We will not be hosting any events during the summer break and will be back starting 7 September with myGovernment 2023.

Joanna Bryson, Professor of Ethics and Technology, was selected as an expert for UNESCO's Women4Ethical AI platform. Along with 16 other international female AI experts, Joanna Bryson will contribute to driving progress on non-discriminatory algorithms and data sources, ensuring the equal representation of women and girls in the deployment and design of AI.

How to detect AI generated (fake) content in our everyday lives? Centre postdoc Philipp Darius shared his thoughts on the matter in an interview with the Berliner Morgenpost. Find out more.
